To mark the beginning of the 2009 - 2010 season for the Doncaster Choral Society, members, friends and guests attended a reception. Doncaster Civic Mayor Ros Jones and consort Alan Jones enjoyed were pleased to come and meet members of the choir. Chairman Sue Dumican and President Philip Scowcroft welcomed the mayor and introduced the new season. The reception was held at the Yorkshire Residential School for the Deaf on Leger Way, Tuesday October 6th 2009. The Choral Society usually rehearse on a Tuesday evening at the Deaf School and new members are always welcome. Please see our 'How to Join' page.
